FISHMOTH VINTAGE FUZZTONE

• The closest thing to a clone Stompnorth produce. A classic vintage dual silicon transistor fuzz.

What Stompnorth bring to the table here are lush foil capacitors, for a sweet, useable fuzz tone, enhanced by an A-B setting, and a panel bias control. A-B gives not just a Bright-Normal setting, but subtly alters the dynamics of the whole pedal. Coupled with the bias control, a huge range of tones is possible, as well as stuttering, gate, and dying battery type effects.

It responds amazingly to your guitar’s volume, is quieter in the signal path than many ‘buzz saw’ fuzzes, and stacks brilliantly with your other pedals.

OUTSIDE

FUZZ This control adjusts the over all amount of Fuzz effect, but behaves dynamically with the other controls.

A / B This switch gives two different flavours of Fuzz: A is brighter and livelier than B, which is more mellow and vintage sounding than A.

BIAS This control gives you direct access to the bias trim of Fishmoth’s BC108 silicon transistors producing a range of different fuzz tones as well as “dying battery” type effects. This control behaves dynamically with the other control settings. Experiment with this control using a delay pedal.

Fishmoth Crystal This is your status indicator. When glowing “Hendrix Purple”, your Fishmoth is active. When extinguished it is in True Bypass.
